English Dial Clock | W. Chippington | 176 Caledonian Road   The 14 inch convex iron dial has Roman numerals, makers name and seconds chapter. The elegantly shaped blued steel hands with counter balanced tails to the minute and seconds hands. The brass bezel is convex sectioned with a deep convex glass. The octagonal surround is rosewood veneered, inlaid with satinwood and has a beaded moulding. The trunk also veneered is inlaid with mother of pearl and brass and has fantail ears, a glazed pendulum viewing aperteur with brass surround and curved foot base. The fusee movement with shaped shoulders and cut out at the bottom of the rectangular plates is fastened directly to the back of the convex dial. Price: £2400.00 Click for more pictures and details

Fusee Wall Clock | George Esplin | Wigan   An exceptionally original mid 19th century fusee wall clock, the back box and surround veneered in rosewood with delicate mother of pearl inlay to the surround. The 12 inch cream painted dial without restoration has roman numerals and in the top half is signed G. Esplin and in the lower half Wigan with a matching pair of fleur-de-lys hands. A glazed cast brass bezel has its original screws and wooden catch. The back box sides and curved base are in excellent original condition and appear to have escaped the ravages of time often evident on clocks of this type, one side having attractively faded patination. Norwich or East Anglian Wall Clock | William Sheldrake | Norwich   A fine example of a mahogany cased "Norwich" wall clock having a 14" painted convex dial with Roman numerals, spade hands, makers name and ornately moulded wooden bezel. The trunk, with line inlay to canted corners, stepped base and door with ebonised moulding and concave shaped top to follow the outline of the bezel.
